Introduction:Our
ShiProtect peelable coatings are
engineered for use on boat molds, gel
coats, fiberglass, glass, steel and many
other surfaces. It will protect vessels
that remain outdoors for the duration of
the job or transportation process. Just
strip away when the job is complete and
the surface will be protected.
Ship Building is
composing of various construction
phases. The major process is as
below:
Shop blasting and primary coating, steel cutting,
block assembling, outfitting, sweep
blasting and painting, blocks erection
and welding, painting and launching,
outfitting & testing and delivery.

All these
processes can require a construction
period of more than 1 year. As a result
rework is often required on painted
surfaces due to long storage periods
and/or mechanical and welding damage, as
well as heavy weather conditions.
Problem: The re-work claims additional
cost, time extension and environmental
problems to shipyard.
Solution: Therefore, many shipyards are
using our Temporary protective coating
for protection during this phase.
I. Major
Application: Platform Deck, Ship
On-Deck, Containership Cargo Area
Objective
A. To prevent rust caused by welding and
hot work at the block joint area.
B. To protect the first paint coating
from heavy weather and any mechanical
damage before applying the second
coating
C. To protect the first paint coating
from contamination caused by grinding
dust, cutting spatters and oil spillage.

II. Pipe (LNGC Cargo
Piping and Other Stainless Steel Pipe) Objective :
A. To prevent rust caused by long
storage and mechanical/handling damage
B. To diminish passivation work caused
by contamination grinding dust, cutting
spatters and oil spillage.
Application Detail:
- Stainless steel pipe (SUS 304/316 and
304L/316L)
- On the bare stainless steel pipe
III. Equipment's (Radar Master, Pump
Tower, Fore Master etc) Objective :
A. To protect the final paint coating
from heavy weather and any mechanical
damage.
B. To protect the final paint coating
from contamination caused by grinding
dust, cutting spatters and oil spillage.

Deck Protection:
Prevents damage and rust staining of non
skid painted deck surfaces during
construction and refit.
The Deck Protection: system operates as
a skin tight coating designed to protect
the profiled non skid painted deck
surfaces against mechanical damage and
rust staining caused by the ingress of
dirt and metal raisings during the long
period of construction.
Supplied as a water borne dispersion the
peelable coatings will not damage or
leave residue on painted surfaces and
are applied by air assisted or airless
spray equipment or lambs wool roller.
They can remain in place for many months
and simply strip away prior to the
handover of the vessel saving many hours
of costly rework.
Coatings are non flammable, low hazard
and skid resistant. They can be used
over a multitude of areas requiring
temporary protection.

BoatProtect_1680 is engineered to
protect various surfaces on yacht,
boat during construction,
storage and transportation against
minor abrasion and staining. Used
for
hull protection. Engineered
specifically for gel coat polyester
surfaces and can be easily applied
with spray or Roller.

Flashpoint: None
BilgeClean 9770 BILGE CLEANER cleans
and deodorizers; but doesn't permit
pumping the contents overboard if it
contains fuel or oil. It has a
pleasant lemon odor. Bilgeclean 9770
contains hydrogen peroxide to assist
in both cleaning and deodorize. All
of the ingredients are
environmentally friendly and are
completely biodegradable.
Metal_Protect_5000
For the protection of painted and powder
coated metal enclosures of electrical and
mechanical equipment. The enclosure is
typically exposed to welding splatter,
impact and scratch damage, paint splatter
etc. during construction and installation
phase, often in the close quarters of a
marine environment. Metal Protect 5000 will
protect the finish of the enclosure for a
year or more as the construction or retrofit
takes place around it. When the work is
completed the coating can be peeled off
leaving the equipment with an undamaged
finish and virtually residue free.

We are a Ship repair yard located in
Canary Islands (please, have a look on
our website).
I would like to know if you have dealers
located in our area who could supply us
your product. We are interested in
testing your peelable coats that we
think can be used in many occasions
during a ship repair process (protecting
windows, propeller, stern tubes, etc,
when blasting or painting).
In any case, could you send us technical
sheet and price?.
2. I am looking for a strippable coating
that will withstand weather and sun for
6-9 months. The coating should be
sprayable or preferably brush-on and
then peelable.
Can a gallon sample be
purchased and sent to Virgin Gorda, BVI.Recommendations: Windocoat 4880 is
a water based peelable coating that can
be applied by brush, roller or airless
spray. This peelable coating will last
up to 12 months on outside exposure and
peel from glass, metal, ceramic, and
many other surfaces. We also manufacture
other peelable coatings that can
withstand outside exposure for 12
months. If you can tell us the surface
you want to protect we might have the
product to recommend.
3. I did
read your advertisement on the "net"
after looking for a suitable peel-off
temporary coating for our ships hull
topside. At this moment we are building
an FPSO 110.000 tonnes at Sembawang
shipyard, Singapore. Between the coating
application on the topside (green) and
the delivery there will be a big
outfitting process ongoing which will
give a considering amount of
contamination on my Polyurethane finish
coat. Can you recommend a suitable
coating that will protect for 8-12
months? PM
Yes, Paint Shield 4580 was the
product we were using and I can tell you
it was a great product. After one year
on the hull we still had a clean new
ship. If you want I can send you some
photos when we are taking it off the
vessel. That's why we are using it

Dear Gene, I applied a few
weeks ago your Peelable Coating on our
FPSO B*** and I must say the same as
with our FPSO A***. It's sensational.
The vessel is black now due to the
construction works however, under your
coating it looks new.
