is a highly concentrated liquid cleaning
agent designed for many decontamination
tasks - from loose particle contamination to

We just use the Decon Klean to soak
glassware or surgical tools that may
contact with radioisotopes during
experiments, so we don't have any
pictures on it. I try to use ~2-10%
solution and soak the tools
overnight and rinse with water; the
soaking solution should be discarded
in radioactive waste container.

Surfaces:
DeconKlean can be used
as received or dilute
with water, depending
upon the severity of the
soils to be removed.
When used with
mechanical agitation as
in a floor scrubber,
DeconKlean can be
diluted up to 5% (1:20).
For routine maintenance
applications like wall
or floor cleaning, a
mixture of one part of
DeconKlean to eight or
ten parts water provides
excellent cleaning
results.
Removal:
DeconKlean can be
removed with a water
rinse.
Flammability:
DeconKlean is
nonflammable.
Disposal:
DeconKlean and the soils
in which it has removed
should be disposed of in
accordance with all
federal, state and local
requirements.
Operating Guidelines:
When handling
the DeconKlean
concentrate,
chemical
resistant gloves
and safety
glasses with
side shields or
googles should
be worn.
The pH of
DeconKlean in
its concentrated
form is 12.5 to
13.
Contact with
aluminum at
elevated
temperatures
should be
avoided with
DeconKlean in
its concentrated
form.
